Go on i'll say it, he is as good as any other top manager. He was slow to take certain obvious facts into consideration but has changed his shit and come out looking good.
if he had gone in summer i would have said "Ok fair do's, good man, good manager, wish him well" but i was fine with him staying to.
You could argue 3 or so managers around are proven at this level who could maybe be doing better, MAYBE, but christ this is splitting hairs.

If Pellegrini stayed 5 more years i would be happy as fuck tbh, attacking football without totally losing it at the back is great.
He has his faults but all managers do.

Pointed at his watch today for Ruddy's time wasting. Pellegrini is a lot more animated this season. Strange subs as I thought it would have been better to take off Bony for Sterling.

Don't know if anyone noticed after Norwich scored but Manuel was telling everyone to slow down and gesturing with his hands. Clueless idiot when we needed a sense of urgency. Glad nobody listened to him.

Taking off Kelechi instead of Bony, what a master stroke. Hqsnt a clue.

He was telling his players to keep their heads. Most would overdo it with little time left and it gets disorganized. To me that's great management.

Taking of Iheanacho was wise. The young lad needs protection after back to back starts. First PL start was already a great experience and he didn't performed badly. Just Pellegrini being careful and wise.

Great manager.

Yet we are top of the league pmsl.

Some right bitter fuckers on here and it must be a soulless and miserable experience supporting Gods own for you as the misery just pours from posts like this every week despite us winning and playing some of the finest attacking football in world football right now.

I thought he made a big mistake picking Nacho ahead of Sterling, because a game against a team defending like that was crying out for De Bruyne in the hole running the game, instead of wasted on the flank. He put it right a bit too late, it it transformed us when he eventually did it on about 55 mins. Taking de Bruyne off at only 1-0 looked a risk, and it almost backfired when we needed to chase the game again though that freak goal.

But it was a pleasing 3 points, showing another dimension to the team which we have really developed his season- late winners. Now that is a trait of champions. I still think we will win it comfortably.

You need to look in the mirror to see someone who hasn't a clue.

I'll second that.
