I would agree with that.

Never mind the tonkings we have given teams the best team performance I have ever seen by a City side is that 1-0 win over United at the end of the 2011-12 season. They were losing for a full 45 minutes in a must not lose game for them and they could still not muster a shot on goal. In similar circumstances and arguably with better personnel I would not have faith we could achieve this.

Should have got rid of him after last seasons shambles. Bailed out time and time again by some of the world class players we have. We will win nothing under him this season,not even bothered about today as it was a meaningless friendly.

It was a great partnership but if I am honest it was more the system. Nastasic walked seamlessly into that system also. But you are quite correct sometimes Lescott does get over looked.

That always baffled me, we won the title with Kompany and Lescott and the next season he hardly got a kick, was there ever any revelations of any shit going on behind the scenes between Mancini and Lescott.

Wasn't surprised at that tbh, after all he played Milner and Fernando in midfield two against Barcelona and left our best midfielder in Fernandinho on the bench. I am expecting more of the same in the coming season (strange selections).

I like pellegrini but the selection above will puzzle me forever. If I could ask him one question it would be this selection and the question would be "why?"
