Think it's harsh to say subs are MP's Achilles heel when he has effected many changes which have turned games.

Maybe. I am a Pellers fan but you don't change games in the last 7 minutes as often as you change them in the 65th, especially when you can see the game is completely passing a player by like it was with Yaya yesterday. By midway through the first half you could see he didn't have it in him to be the beast we know he can be.

Its nothin new for players 30+ managed right yaya will be much more effective for us this season startin some games but also comin from the bench . Pellers has to start implementin this

Absolutely. Yaya is one of the best players we have had. Time to husband his resources.

It's obvious that Pellegrini sees Toure as almost undroppable and is willing to accommodate him regardless of his form/performance. Although I 100% disagree with this in principle, in practice with the injuries we have had piled up I can see why he wants him in the pitch for as long as possible. He can make the telling difference even after 90 minutes of total indifference.

I worry about De Bruyne on the right flank. Even before he joined I've always felt it's his least effective position and his performances for us when being asked to play there seems to suggest that.

Bit of a conundrum ain't it! Shape wise, Sterling and Navas on the flanks seems to be our best option but Silva and KDB are guys you want on the field...

I find it odd that De Bruyne hasn't at least been tried out in a more central midfield role during Silva's absence

Asked why he didn’t bring Kelechi on sooner, Pellegrini said: “It could be another option, but I think that Jesus was important also to play for the right wing. Maybe if we scored the goal we are talking about it being the correct option, but after that you never know if Kelechi can change the game. But he’s not a striker. Normally he plays behind the striker.”

What the fuck is MP on about?

I understand him, I just don't agree. He thought Sterling could do the striking job better than Nacho with Navas on the flank. Maybe he is right and Nacho is more of a Number 10 but when it was clear it wasn't working I wished we'd seen Nacho for Yaya rather than Delph.

I agree with you if I'm honest on both subs. However I have yet to come across a City manager or indeed a football manager who doesn't make subs that baffle supporters. It's pretty much standard across all clubs/forums.

I'm sure the virtual City fans in my FM team do!
