FourTwoFour and your mates.....fuck it.....Pellegrini out!

Forgive the obvious sarcasm but both have not got a fucking clue as to what kind of job Pellegrini is doing.

Just because they don't support City doesn't mean they can't have an opinion. I didn't rate Rodgers, I do rate Klopp. Are those views null and void because I don't support Liverpool.

I don't think it's lazy at all. It's down right obvious that off the ball Toure just ambles and is miles off the pace.

It wasn't always that way, and against teams we dominate of course it can work. Anyone who has a fair bit of possession can kill us though if faced by the ambling Ture

The results with him playing in a two with Fernandino are excellent. He didn't play vs Spurs away.

The results with Fernando in a two with anyone are average to poor.

The results with a midfield three have produced two 0-0 scorelines out of three.

I have a feeling that the persistence with Yaya may be drawing to an end but it is still a big call to leave him out. The reason he persists with him is that he expects us to keep the ball and dominate possession and that game revolves around Yaya. Pellers is more concerned with keeping the ball in the first place than having to win it back.

I think it may be time for Silva to show that he can be the pivot of the team and take that role on from Yaya.

On the possession point i think we are all used to seeing us completely dominate and see teams stand off so when it doesnt happen its a huge shock but one we have to adapt to and quick.

I argued for Yaya to be sold 2 years ago for the good of the team going forward and that isnt hindsight, it was a realisation that we had probably had his best years and form and it was time to move on and the club trying to land Pogba also points to that. That said he is here and as Exeter rightly points out, Pellegrini has shown he can change it successfully but the stubborn fucker wont do it often or quick enough right now and its really hurting us.

Going forward i agree with Merlin as pivot with KdB and Sterling out wide with the two Ferns holding behind.

No your right. We haven't put 5 or 6 past any team in the last 2.5 years. Have we?

That's not the point

It was stated that the Guardiola speculations isn't doing the player, fans etc any favours so I pointed out that it doesn't seem to be bothering the BM players - the fact we stuck 7past Norwich 2yrs ago has nothing to do with it whatsoever

I can never quite shake off those old 'glass half empty' goggles, no matter how good we get! ;-)

Seriously though, what frustrates is that he can adapt when he feels like it, Seville away being a glorious example. Yesterday however was beyond the fucking pale, and his comments afterwards frankly incredible. As I said earlier, your average 15 year old could not have contrived a worse team selection and set up

It is hugely frustrating because he really is not a one trick pony but he is stubborn to a fault. I just hope that he does not let that stubborness get in the way of us winning the league. He may not need to change his approach to win the league but he needs to judge that carefully.
