How weak and undermining would that be - even if he obviously needs it!!
Excuse me Mr Simeone, Klopp, Guardiola, Accelloti. Mourinho, Ferguscum, would you mind terribly changing the way you manage?

I agree with you but imo there is no scenario that would see him getting sacked mid season other than relegation so for now, if it meant strapping him to a chair and forcing him to watch the Sevilla game over and over until he promises to stop playing a midfield 2 with Yaya then im all for it lol.

If that's the only option - I'll go with that :-)

I do see your point but short term for the good of the club if all it takes is a sit down and a word from above then im all for it.

If we need someone above him to tell him how to manage it does beg the question why his he our manager? Those that defend him constantly even admit he keeps making the same basic mistakes, they use terms like I hope learns soon, what sort of club with visions of greatness has a manager that needs lessons from those above and its own supporters, he is paid to manage our football team, he is not a YTS apprentice

There can only be one conclusion to this either pellegrini is right and everyone else is wrong or he is a poor manager

I thought highly paid managers were supposed to see things before us, not maybe cotton on if at all well after the rest of us have lost the will to live

I'll openingly admit at 3-0 down on Saturday I was hoping this was the breaking point. There's nothing worse than thinking before a match the tactic's are wrong AGAIN and then watching the car crash fulfilled before your eyes.

First time people around me have booed at the end.

He's here until the end of the season unless our Champions League place is under threat, so we should just get on with supporting the team.
Whatever our individual or collective feelings, he's here until the end of the season unless there is a catastrophic fuck up along the way. I'll continue to support my team and the manager. That doesn't mean I want him gone and neither does it mean I agree with the Kamikazi tactics he's employed during his time here.

As I said a few weeks ago, it will all be resolved at the end of the season one way or the other, hopefully with the best for Manchester City being at the forefront of that decision.

Not panicking after one bad result.

But not winning the league this season would be even more inexcusable than letting one of the worst united teams ever win it under Mancini.

I don't think we will ever again have a season where the defending champions are out of contention by November .

If his supporters are even suggesting these type of measures then his time in any rational world is done, my one big fear is that the powers that be are just killing time waiting for guardiola and come the summer he doesn't come and pellegrini sneaks us the title

What do they do then?

I'd rather he went immediately if he's going. The team needs a signing or two in Jan and I'd rather a new man got the players he wanted.

I don't want him to fail I want him to learn and understand from his errors and understand that 4-4-2 or should we say 4-2-4 which it was on Saturday is not possible or workable to fit all of our players in. Play 4-3-3, 4-1-2-3 or 4-5-1 anything but fucking 4-4-2 and we could and should batter teams.
Mate, you're preaching to the converted. I agree wholeheartedly with every word you say, but the sad fact is that Pellegrini has been here long enough and had enough games to suss out what our best formation is for the players we have. The question is, if he hasn't learned so far, will he ever?

Therein lies your answer for what lies ahead for us under Manuel.

This I don't get you support the club, as do most on here, we want the best for the club, but you don't want a manager sacked that in your own words uses kamikaze tactics, I don't get the logic

The idea that anyone's going to come in and tell Pellegrini anything at this point is frankly, both absurd and laughable. Think the emotion of the last 36 hours is getting to everyone. I've little doubt we'll have a new manager next summer, but i've also little doubt that this season is far from over and everything is still there to be played for.

For all the criticism he's taken, and for all the criticism i've given Pellegrini since Saturday evening, I'd back him over Wenger, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Klopp, and yes even Ranieri, to win the premier league this season.
