so only briefly into it at the moment, but we're miles behind, no wonder we're struggling under Pelle.

Its like he sets us up and we have a really good game and so uses it the next game against totally different opponents. It doesnt work at all but he'll continue doing it because it worked that one time (4-4-2 for example).
It's like he doesnt care who we are playing or the way they play. He just sets us up the same, thinking itll work everytime. Last few games games we've been playing like Bony is still in the team...32 crosses vs liverpool with just Aguero and then Sterling to aim at..1 successful.

A mediocre manager who hasnt improved us during his time here.

A huge positive effect that Pellegrini had on us tonight was that due to his inability/stupidity to not have any plan whatsoever to stop Pogba meant the Sheikh could see what a great player he is.

I am really struggling to figure out his philosophy.More and more looks like one trick pony...very rigid.

There's one simple question that needs to be asked when assessing a manager in his third season. Is the whole at least equal to the sum of the parts?

The answer in our case is no.

Will go no matter what at the end of the season.

While injuries are looking like they will derail our season and he keeps on saying he never uses them as an excuse but refers to the injury list in ever increasing amounts especially when results are poor / below par as they have been for sometime now clearly he is out of his depth in Europe now much like Wenger and Klopp for one will get the better of him in the mind games stakes at least which he doesn't know how to handle.

He has to turn it around quickly before the premiership title becomes a long shot for us and we cannot rely on a good run of games for the likes of Silva and Kompany and Zabba etc etc before they get injured again.

Unfortunately as poor as the premiership is this season it means it tightening up and managers will have to work smarter and harder to keep ahead of an increasing pack.

We will see if MP can get something near our best in the remaining 25 games something he hasn't in the main in our last 8 games.

I think if he has two messy, up and down seasons in a row (and if you were nitpicking you could maybe count his title winning season as that as well, definitely some silly losses in that one) then we have to do something. I don't think we look too much better than last year. No coherency and it seems theres one embarrassing result every couple of months or so. Really think we should be at the point where we take a season by the throat and dominate but seem incapable.

Nowhere near it at present.

He should spend some time at Leicester's training ground.

We are a poorer team technically and play less cohesively than we did 12 months ago.

It's starting to show in the points table as well.

We don't need a manager who takes the holistic approach after the dippers and Juve results, we need one who takes the ballistic aproach.
