Agree completely. MP is trying to rotate the players to avoid further injuries. I am fairly sure Delph didn't start today, because he will be starting against Gladbach. Just returning from 2 serious injuries, it would be a big risk playing him 3 full games in 7 days.

Which is fine but then adjust your gameplan to limit chances and make it difficult in the centre.....ok if you don't want to start that defensive but for the love of god do something about it when your 2 down within 15 and lucky not to be 4-5 nil down.

We will be all right. Makes the season exciting. Will be happy to get any trophy this season and hopefully get a new manager next season irrespective. Peligrini is ok but a bit uninspiring. But sad to see the likes of Fernando, Delphi, bony in our team compared to yaya at his peak, revel and even Gareth Barry. We are not as good as we were under Mancini.

There is entirely no point in sacking him now. Who would replace him for one, and he is not playing for two. He has failed the players in the way that he sets them up to play, and he fails in changing those players during a game tactically. But players they are, world class ones at that, the envy of most. They are not performing

So what. Does that automatically mean they all don't give a shit all of a sudden.

your trying to suggest I said that the players don't give a fuck (about the club?) , which is not the case. I am suggesting the players don't give a shit about the manager or his tactics because nothing improves even after half time.

can we all at least now agree that he's not really been an upgrade on his predecessor :-)

same old same old lol

We have the strongest 11, that I have no doubt. If you feel we could put 4 or 5 squad players in and then expect to compete against any of the top sides in the division, you clearly rate the likes of Willy, Fernando, Zab (sad to say that) and others. Having a strong squad imo means being able to compete with first team players of other teams without a dramatic fall off in quality. Your prerogative to think we have that, but check out all the players who are getting called out week in week out on this forum. I,m not suggesting Pellers is exempt from criticism, but This belief we should be blowing every other team away because of ouyr squad only really stacks up if the team you are playing is equally decimated through injuries. We need to accept that some teams have better first team players than our squad players.

Stoke?

Again you haven't answered my question. You are comparing our squad players to our direct opponents first 11 which is not what I asked.

Ok I'll ask it for the third time; Which club in the Premier League do you feel has a stronger SQUAD than City?

Some of the players haven't been an upgrade. We're still relying on players bought under Hughes and Mancini.
