And what if the new manager doesn't feel they are ready yet?
No my money is on @twosips not Pellegrini when it comes to City youth

Personally I would have thought those who see those players everyday would be in a position to give a more accurate view on the youth at the club and whether they are ready to play a part in the first team. The lack of playing time for those players would suggest that they don't feel they are quite ready yet. Our senior management team had a pretty good record of giving youth a chance at Barcelona so I would think they know what they are doing in this regard.

Pellers might believe some of them will never be truly top class, and you know what? While i disagree, fair enough. That's his opinion as he will see them day in day out and he's entitled to that, cos he might be right...but one thing i'm 100% sure about, as its been proven by every other club in the league, our kids are at least fine to 'do a job' now and let our senior players take a breather. The idea that they're not is categorically 100% wrong and Pellers is terrible for not seeing it. Ferguson got decent performances out of the likes of Higginbotham, Chadwick etc, and i'm not even having it that the likes of Neville, Neville two, Brown, Fletcher etc were any more talented at the same age as our current standouts. They were most likely similar, if not a tad less talented. Yet he still used them well, cos he knew you'd get one thing for certain from the kids - energy, drive, enthusiasm and a willingness to absolutely bust a gut for the cause. Sometimes that'll do just fine....

Only one way to find out though isn't there, Denayer is ready for one - sadly he will fuck off somewhere else, plenty of opportunities for them to get game time, Capital cup for one should be our breeding ground.
