I'm a Pellegrini fan. He's a great coach. But I'm not sure anyone performs as well on their job when they know they're getting sacked 6 months from now. I would definitely start thinking about my future, prepare less for every match, study less the opposition.. maybe I'm just a mediocre professional though :D

Well, Karl Heinz Rummenige won everything right before Pep arrived to Bayern and I'm not sure it was good news for him. He couldn't win the CL.
Is Pellergrini a great coach .

Well when it comes to rotating the team - poor

Well when it comes to playing an elite team like Barcelona or Bayern Munich. when it matters - Poor

When it comes to playing at Anfield - Poor 100% record of losing .

So I wouldn't say he was a great coach .

Highest points per game ratio of any serving Premier League manager. Best win percentage of any Real Madrid manager. Must be crap

Haven't you been reading? He might have some of the best statistics in Premier League history, and has been to the semi finals of the Champions League, and managed Real Madrid and won the English Premier League. But he's months behind "hilts" from the Bluemoon forum who doesn't know how to use a full stop or capital letter, but would be Europe's most successful manager if only someone would spot it.

The sweet irony of Didsbury Dave' having a hissy at a posters self important knowledge of football, the guy who has spent more time kindly telling us all how football clubs should be run and managed, he was even good enough to throw in the best stat cup as well.

While I'm here sunshine I don't get paid to use full stops or capital letters which kind of makes your point quite silly, the last act of desperation a grammar attack.

Pmsl

I am quite surprised Madrid haven't got a statue up. If my grandkids in 20 years time ask me about Manuel I will just say lovely stats and his percentages were beyond compare.

So you will be keeping the trophies a secret then ?

Is it really a case of him "getting the sack" though? It feels like this fixation with Pep has been hanging around the club for a very long time and it goes back way before pellegrini signed his contract extension (which the club offered him coming off the back of a reasonably disappointing season). Whatever we all think we know about Pep coming to City, Pellegrini will know a hell of a lot more and will have done since the beginning. Is it possible that at the end of last season Pellegrini accepted the opportunity to stay on another year, to win back the title, but in the knowledge he would be stepping aside at the end of it? He might be a lot more complicit in all of this than we think and his motivation this seaaon is to go out on a high having shown what a great manager he really is.

Dont forget clueless as well but i did add a wink at the end of it pmsl.

Everyone knows my stance on the manager but i just cant be arsed arguing about him any more on here. Its the same he is shit, no he isn't going round and round and round.

6 months off and then we can all fall out over Pep ;-)

Fall out over Pep?

I predict DD passing a joint to Hilts as we all sit in a giant Pep loving circle, me , I'm more into bongs if you want share, we can hear colours as we talk about counter press and that Navas was made to be a right back all along.

Some peace certainly needs to circulate bluemoon that's for sure- and I predict harmony to all blues.

Boom shanka

I'd tell mine he was the first city manager to do a league and cup double personally. Might have to tell them the most successful city manager ever before he's finished here.

I hope that's not true, I think we have the resources to do more than scramble the odd title with an average manager, if we get pep hopefully the stories will be of a great side fully reaching its potential at home and in Europe
