How Fernandinho doesn't start is a mystery....? He's our most effective, complete midfielder and yet he is left on the bench in favour of lethargy and lack of ability - astonishing......

When he scored,he looked angry, like he had proved a point......and boy did he have one! An excellent cameo, and obviously one that gained us the points.

Pellegrini's seeming dislike of Fernandinho is one of this seasons greatest mysteries. Didn't have the best summer granted, but he's our most complete midfielder. If he's fit you play him.

Don't agree that he is our most complete midfielder. He is nippier and gets more tackles in than Yaya but I think Yaya is the more complete and superior player.

Needs binned asap! His picking of fernando over Fernandihno is fucking baffling! And a midfield of lampard, yaya and fernando with milner and dinho on the bench?!?!? Absolutely shocking from the manager and has took the team backwards rapidly.

Meh, I can't get angry about this stuff.

We all seem to think he's gone, the players think he's gone and really his job now is to keep us in the top 3. Performances don't matter at this point and only the scores on the board do.

Let's just hope Txiki thinks he's gone or we are Donald Ducked .

I trust that Txiki's decision will be what is in the best interest of Manchester City over the next 5 years, whatever that may be.

Sometimes when you identify a great talent the best thing that you can do is stand behind them and, again let's make this clear, Txiki is acknowledged as the greatest DoF that is currently working today who turned down numerous huge jobs to join City. Barca are the biggest club in the world and they aren't begging him to come back because he's wank.

Yep, has to go asap.

Selecting Nando, Yaya and Lampard was unreal.

We have a £30mil midfielder sat twiddling his thumbs on the bench, how must Dinho feel watching Frank in the side?

I know mate. The thought of another season of this, whilst waiting on a possible promise from Pep, makes me feel weak at the knees. We were fucking tragic again today

You need a lie down in a darkened room with your worry beads.
h

Not today I don't. The concern is fully merited. Another mad arsed team selection again that seemed to show (not for the first time) no appreciation of the opposition's strengths whatsoever. I genuinely don't know what's going on at City at the moment, but I sincerely hope that Khaldoon puts a stop to it in the summer whatever it is!

Simple answer we started Fernandinho in both games against Crystal Palace and the rags and we lost.

Not to state the obvious but time will tell if pellers remains in charge come the end of summer review with our owners... problem would be even though we won today it was not convincing and we really struggled when we lost possession of the ball (again after the first 20mins we seemed to switch off)

We cannot for some reason press and win the ball back convincingly and look fragile when the opposition are in control - that for me is a big worry and it still showing even with the last 2 wins under our belt

He undoubtedly is, but right now given the choice of Ya Ya playing the game at walking speed and lying down for 40 seconds every time he's tackled, and Dinho busting a gut, I'd pick the latter every time

That is a different point.

Was khaldhoon at the game then? Any pics of the look of delight on his face?

He was there with soriano, neither looked very happy

They both attend almost every game. Soriano is there for every game, think I've seen Khaldoon go missing on the odd midweek fixture but generally he seems to be knocking about the place on matchday.

There's one thing being being the best DoF in the World whilst at an established decade upon decade heavyweight of European football in your homeland and a completely different thing doing it at a club in a foreign country who are light years away from being like a club of Barcas standing.

Just because he did if at Barca doesn't mean it will work at City, we have a team with no fucking backbone of any description and a manager with no fucking clue how to rectify it- of course this clown is managing a team not of his making so he could be given the keys to the toy shop for next season.

Empty seats and fans fucking off with ten minutes to go spoke volumes of what the fan base think of him.

I wish he would just fuck off to be honest .

It's good to see them there,i like it that they are so involved not managing from a distance

WTF?

There are plenty of players that started those games, why is it Dinho's fault?

1? Seriously ?

2 Correct

Perhaps he was looking for some leadership and felt the other players had let him down.

Lampard was awful though. Like playing with 10 men.

Expect the worse next season if he's still in charge
