Beat west brom cos they were wank and had 10 for 87 mins. West Ham were a joke. Not being funny Ray you're entitled to your opinion but I have to say many are just plain stupid.

We still yielded 9 points. And thanks for the insult.
9pts from 2 games? Really?

West Brom, West Ham and Aston Villa ( oh hang on did we lose or draw today?).

Simple answer we started Fernandinho in both games against Crystal Palace and the rags and we lost.

WTF?

There are plenty of players that started those games, why is it Dinho's fault?

The manager had to try and stop the run of defeats. We beat West Brom and West Ham (albeit looking like a team with fragile confidence) with both Lampard and Fernando in the team. And we got the 3 points today despite our players deciding to stop playing after 20 minutes and having two blatant penalty shouts turned down.

WHU was already in vacation and WBA played with 10 almost the entire and we finish the game with almost 80% poses. and 43 shots...wtf???? it could had been me or you in this games and still do the fucking job

a manager and coaching staff who know how to pick a defender and how to drill their defence

that would be a start

Did I mention villa game? bed time for you I think you have a lot of revision to do for that maths exam. If you were at the game today you will know that our defence is shambolic and our play lacked tempo or aggression. Pellergrini is an average manager who has lost the players.

I trust that Txiki's decision will be what is in the best interest of Manchester City over the next 5 years, whatever that may be.

Sometimes when you identify a great talent the best thing that you can do is stand behind them and, again let's make this clear, Txiki is acknowledged as the greatest DoF that is currently working today who turned down numerous huge jobs to join City. Barca are the biggest club in the world and they aren't begging him to come back because he's wank.

There's one thing being being the best DoF in the World whilst at an established decade upon decade heavyweight of European football in your homeland and a completely different thing doing it at a club in a foreign country who are light years away from being like a club of Barcas standing.

Just because he did if at Barca doesn't mean it will work at City, we have a team with no fucking backbone of any description and a manager with no fucking clue how to rectify it- of course this clown is managing a team not of his making so he could be given the keys to the toy shop for next season.

Empty seats and fans fucking off with ten minutes to go spoke volumes of what the fan base think of him.

I wish he would just fuck off to be honest .

Not sure how you explain our fanbase being wank and the stadium quiet for the previous ten years then.

I'm sure all those heading out at the 85th minute were thinking to themselves "yeah that Director of Football is shit, I'm off home"
There is a flat feeling surrounding the entire club at the minute though, from the management, the players and the supporters. This all stems from the aimless direction we seem to be going on the pitch.
I think we're all expecting another summer of underwhelming but hugely expensive signings with the same or an equally uninspiring manager at the helm, as we'll still be waiting around in some vain hope that Pep decides he might join us afterall next year.
Off the pitch City seem to be getting everything right. On it however we have been getting most things wrong in the time that Txiki has been here which has led to a flat feeling around the entire club and he needs to carry the can for that.

Grow up. This isn't a popularity contest.

Average? So if Mark Hughes was in charge of the same squad we'd be in the same position, and he'd have a domestic double under his belt? Let's stop acting like we have sniffed too much glue, shall we?

Name a single signing in the summer that improved the squad. The problem is motivation, of which Pellegrini is equally guilty, as are the worthless signings in the summer. No first team players have had any challenge to their status as such.

Sold Garcia for Fernando, which was a step backwards (amazing considering we all slated Garcia under Mancini).

Sent out Negredo and didn't even replace him.

Sagna for Richards, possibly the dumbest change of all.

Mangala has been worse than Nastasic' most of the season, and we sold Nastasic' at a loss and overpaid on Mangala.

Name one player that has had their place in the starting XI challenged.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says his side are coming back into form after their 3-2 win over Aston Villa.

No sane man would say that! P45 in the morning and put the glue away.

Mancini would be getting more out of this team this season than Pellegrini

but then so would Tony Pulis tbf

How can we ever move on in this debate when there are people who refuse to move on, this season is panning out the same as Mancini's last season

we are playing way worse now than we were when Bobby undeservedly got the push

We might well hang on to Champions League football this season despite Pellegrini's laughable defensive theories but I doubt we will get away with it next season. He (and we) have been well and truly sussed. There are clearly going to be some decent managers available this summer, if we sleepwalk into next season with this guy still at the helm, it will be unforgiveable. Getting someone in who respects opposition teams enough not to neglect the basics would be a start.

Pellergrini stopped coaching the defence in 2015 .
Even Brian Horton could drill a defence better than Pellergrini done this season .

It sounds to me that you support a former manager more than City, I liked Mancini put I have moved on, I think it's about time you did

Well said

We lack movement when we have the ball and defensively we have no discernible shape or system. We have 2 or 3 players half heartedly pressing while the others are dotted around the pitch to no great purpose, leaving lots of space between the midfield and defence. If you're going to play a high defensive line, you need to press effectively, yet we don't (nor have we bought players that suit that system).

It's just a disorganised mess.

Happy with the 3 points though.
