When evaluating the veracity of Scholes' musing on the subject of our next manager, posters would do well to remember that he has a very, very small penis.

And ginger bollocks. Never trust a man with ginger bollocks.

Not entirely fussed if it's Pep, Carlo or Klopp.

Carlo won't get us much further in the CL as I don't think he has the personality to raise a previously unfancied club to that level. He will win a league though so I'm fine with that. And he has that whole eyebrow thing going on which intrigues me.

Pep is clearly a mad obsessive who can probably takes us further in the CL and will win a league but will get drawn into the mental games with Van Gaal and Jose and end up going on a killing spree bringing a whole new meaning to 'clearing out the deadwood'

Klopp is a so obviously a character from 'Allo 'Allo it probably makes him favourite in my book. Out of the three he is more likely to win the CL and just as likely to get us relegated but it would be a hoot.

Great post.

i'm pretty chilled about this. as long as we make a change all of the names being banded about are an improvement on pellers. lets see who rocks up, our chairman is no fool and i trust him. its not like steve bruce will take over is it.

I took two years off the board and I'm beginning to remember why. Prepare for a glimpse into the mind of a diagnosed idiot in an acute excitable state.

My head is telling me that Tolmie's recent comments about 'use the force, city' are something to do with today.

He knew the new Star Wars trailer would be released today.

(and here's were we go over the edge for once and for all.... )

that makes today relevant. The Movie is called 'The Force Awakes'. Also relevant because....

He knew pep's hand would be 'forced' today.

how?

well he knew the klopp thing would happen yesterday, and that bayern would struggle yesterday, because city engineered it by feeding someone the dortmund/klopp story so it would come out on the morning of Pep's quarter final.

klopp's availability means city can call every outlet in the land and say, no, we want pep, and they will all put it out as top sport story. They know this will cause a problem in Bayern. It causes Pep to be distracted - distracts his players. Worked better than anyone could imagine.

As for the stuff with the medical staff - did that vine drop today?

Oh god I shouldn't press post. Don't do it... don't.....

"Nurse,!........NURSE............ He's getting out of bed again..

... Nurse!"

It'd be interesting to see what some of Mancini's harshest critics make of it (without any dig - I'd be interested to hear Mister Appointment's take, genuinely)

Even Mancini never really came close to publicly humiliating a staff member who'd been there 40 years. Was good enough to win a CL right before Peps arrival. Now the whole medical team has resigned which is a bit unprecedented and surely is a pretty monumental catastrophe created by Pep.

I think most of the people on the forum who know me well know that I've never been all in on the idea of Pep managing us. I don't particularly like his character. He's far too close to managers like Mancini and Mourinho in that wherever they go and whatever they achieve, those achievements are their achievements rather than the clubs'. There's a cult of personality which follows them around which isn't necessarily healthy.

People will say that Klopp is similar, but I would respectfully disagree. Klopp has the character of the perennial outsider. He's aggressive yes, and he's media gold. But he lacks the machiavellian dark side which the three I've mentioned above definitely have.

I know I get accused of being a fanboy because I actually respect and trust the people running our club so this will no doubt be ignored as it doesn't fit the narrative - but if Txiki passes on Klopp to wait a year for Guardiola, even if that means bringing Ancelotti in, that would in my mind be a terrible decision. Not because it means waiting for Pep, but because it means passing on IMO a much better suited manager for City to wait for his mate.
