Ancelotti to City??

Yes, don't worry...I know the source is rubbish but rumours are Sky Italy are reporting we're in talks with Ancelotti about being the new manager next season.....if true, would everyone be happy with this move?

Re: Ancelotti to City??

Yes please!!! Won European trophies as well and could get big name players in.

Re: Ancelotti to City??

An improvement over MP in terms of his European success. Overall one of the most successful managers available. His league records are what people usually criticize him for but he's won a fair share of domestic cups.

So that's how I would characterize this.

Looks like a few sites are picking up on the rumours....

Man City approach Ancelotti

It’s reported Manchester City are in negotiations with Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Sky Sport Italia made the claim this evening and suggest the Italian tactician is thinking it over.

Although he won the Champions League under a year ago, the fans at the Bernabeu have been increasingly critical of their Liga form.

Ancelotti has experience in England, having won the Premier League title, FA Cup and Community Shield at Chelsea in 2009-10.

It’s believed Manchester City are specifically targeting him for his record in Europe, where the club has traditionally struggled despite spending huge amounts on transfers.

Ancelotti won the Champions League three times as a Coach, twice with Milan and once at Real Madrid.
