Ditching Sky

Of course you go back mate. You are where i am now and after every offer runs out, i cancel, go a week or so without before they ring again and i get it all back for relative peanuts.

There is no point in being a loyal customer these days so cancel like this and wait for them to come back begging as they will.
Was caught on the hop really i had it planned that if they phoned back i was going to say i had sold my sky boxes but would consider returning if they offered the sky Q package for no extra cost but there offer of £16 took this right out of my mind. May try it on when they phone back thursday.

Don't you lose all the the stuff on your planner if you get cut off and then rejoin a week or so Later?

My Sky was switched off 10 days ago after 18 years had many offers from them to stay best was reducing my tv package from £92 month to £52 per month which i kindly declined. Just had a phone call in the last hour from sky asking how i am now viewing tv and told them i just watch freeview now through my box ;-). Then came the offer id been expecting we can switch all your sky tv package back on for 12months no contract for £16 month and will also give you £50 cashback also if i want to keep multiroom i can have that at half price £6 month. Told them to ring back Thursday and i will make a decision. Would you go back or not folks ???
No, it's £0 per month on Kodi!

Mrs Woo watches Coronation St and Emmerdale I watch Films and Footy. Answer free serve plus firestick. One off payment £35 ish. No brainer.

If you mean the stuff already recorded then no, it'll still be there. You'll only lose (I think) the scheduled recordings which haven't aired yet.

Sky are launching their mobile phone service shortly but only to existing customers initially so you may be able to add that to mix. No word on pricing yet but they seem to be saying that all calls and texts are free.

They phoned back tonight and i agreed to sign back up again, i asked about Sky Q and was told not to take option now as it would cost but everyone is going to be upgraded starting next year free of charge!!. Also they have put Sky Movies on all in HD which i never had to start with so another little bonus

That is a seriously good deal, my offers will all end by January so I've started talking to them already to lay the groundwork. I was thinking of upgrading to Q but that's given me pause for thought now.
