Do Tourists ruin sight seeing trips ?

I make it worse 'cos there's always a few roadies on the way home to Yorkshire, sweat dripping off 'em, down at the arse end of the gears and I'm in fourth gear with Turbo leccy selected, and as I pass 'em at 14.9mph, I turn and say "Oooh, this is a tough 'un!'

Haha, i'll keep an eye out for you next time i'm on either of them..........

The Mona Lisa is a shit experience, but the rest of the museum is fine, even when it's pretty busy. But they'd do well to just ban photos, because most of the problem is people queuing up to get a picture of something that's already all over the internet anyway. I'll never get why people want to take their photo with a painting as if their ugly mug will improve a masterpiece. And let's be honest, it's only so famous in the first place because it was stolen, not because it's his best painting.

I saw Michelangelo's David and there were only 3 or 4 other people in the room though, and that was at peak season.

Yes, especially Japanese ones that push to the front.

Over here they have the Paddywagon. You can jump in a coach and see Ireland in a day. Few minutes per stop, and back on the bus. Never ending cycle throughout summer.
Ah, the ubiquitous far Eastern tourists who take 100s of pics of fuck all. I've nearly splattered a few whilst driving in central London as they step into the road with a 3 foot selfie stick grinning for the pose.

Just finding it a drag to go and see some real wonderful sights ruined by so many others tourists fighting to have selfies with their massive sticks - recent trip to Paris, Eiffel Tower was so packed. Could barely move and had to wait nearly an hour for lift to top and it was a squeeze to even look out - Mona Lisa painting - you get about 10 seconds to go and see it during which everyone is fighting for space to have selfies, Rome - Trevvi fountain we couldn’t even get near as hundreds of people tripping over themselves.
Maybe I’m just getting older and miserable.

Tourist moaning about tourists ruining tourism for tourists...
