Do you believe in love?

"Love is an intangible absurdity founded and fostered by the insecurities of human nature. It merely exists as a construct which evolved to reside in our left temporal lobe to help build the naturally weak monogamy drive in the human condition... in short, you're just confused..."

Love is an act of endless forgiveness, a tender look which becomes a habit

Love is like a violin. The music may stop now and then, but the strings remain forever

To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer. To suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy then is to suffer. But suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness. I hope you're getting this down

I love City so yes I believe in love.

I absoultely believe in love but I take exception to it being reduced to a simple boy/girl, lovehearts and cuddly teddy bears bullshit.

Love is all.

It's much more than "falling in love" isn't it?

It's about steadfast loyalty and getting through the bad times, self sacrifice and selflessness.

I agree.

As enjoyable as the initial stages of a relationship are, there's more to love than chocolate boxes and roses, it's about a deeper, unspoken understanding.

Also love should not be reserved for boy/girl, love is a universal truth. Perhaps THE universal truth.

When Lennon said 'Love is all you need' he wasn't talking about loving your girl or wife, he was talking about the bigger picture. Love is the answer to every question.

Yes.

And you could even state that "love" can happen between two complete strangers. Take the acts of the emergency services for example. I am sure that the act of trying to save someone's life in a desperate situation (the tube bombings for example) is not just an act borne out of duty but a sincere wish to save and hold close. Humanity is at its best in that kind of situation I always think.
