Do you support the RMT?

If the government held "intensive talks" with all unions the disputes may well be over.

This is another stalling tactic to downplay the TUC demo/action on budget day.
Same as last year, the cunts plead poverty but then have a huge surplus of cash that could’ve paid for many things, including a decent pay rise for public workers.

Taking us for mugs and looks like they wanted to be the big ‘I am’, giving a substantial pay rise in April hoping the country would praise them for their charity. All the while, they were allowing people to suffer just to give themselves a bit of a boost.

Wankers.

Heartless-Bitchface speaking like she knows how all business works - its funny she is big on gendering and saying a woman can't be a man when she has no dick - I find most of the times she opens her mouth she outs herself as one massive dick anyway - she is a know nowt gob on a stick - she knows all about how business works coz she once did a bit of waitressing? I worked for a month in a sheet metal factory - I wouldn't want to be asked to explain how to weld though

How thick is she.

Just embarrassing - more interested in shareholder dividends and his own bonus than understanding how the business he runs works. If I had turned up to such a meeting so unprepared I would have been bollocked and rightfully so

It’s unfortunate this is where we are in politics. Shamelessness is not even punished anymore, sometimes it is even seems to be encouraged.

It's the same in the railway industry.

We have a merry go round of directors moving from company to company who are there to increase "stakeholder delivery measures."

Anyone that gives a fuck about delivering a proper service to the passengers are sidelined and most end up moving into the heritage sector of the railways instead.

I was in a meeting where management expected our passenger traffic to the holiday resorts we provide services will be up by at least 15% judging by advance sales. They expect me and my colleagues to be able to facilitate with a 35% reduction in capacity for those routes citing "economic restrictions", which translates as we aren't paying for extra trains.

Pretty much what Lavery said to them yesterday. Whichever way this unfolds impacts neither their finances or future job prospects. They'll just move on to the next corporate gig.

How are the talks with the RCN going? No leaks so far
The cynic in me says the government are kicking the can just long enough so you don't see thousands of nurses on strike marching in London on budget day.

That's pretty much the feeling I'm being told from people in AsLEF who are also in 'intensive talks'

Good point , hope the RCN are seeing through that
