Agree with Wheelsy. The City of Manchester Stadium is about as grand a title as you can get. It was builty by the City of Manchester for the Commonwealth Games, it's used by Manchesters only team, and because the council own and get money off it, it means we pump about £6 million (?) a year back into the City of Manchester.

It's not 'too long', it's just very grand.

I mean, even if you call it "the stadium", you don't need to explain yourself most of the time because people know which stadium you mean.
