I like the "City of Manchester Stadium". Simple, no-nonsense name. However, if we had to 'name' it, how about the Joe Mercer Stadium?

the name is City of Manchester Stadium.. commonly known as Eastlands... over the coming decade the name Eastlands will be the preferred term... same as with Arsenal's old ground (not actually called Highbury) and West ham (not actually called Upton Park)

WH is The Boylen, what's Highbury? Also, the old Wembly was really the Empire Stadium.
