We know the chance of recouping much of our original valuation has gone, and he will now depreciate with every passing week, between now and the window.

The irony is, the clown has presented City with the 'perfect storm' to 'get even'.

Much like Chelsea did with Mutu, expect to see us take our chance in court for breach and recouping more than we could ever have wished on the open market.

Him and his fucking weasle will be turning tricks in Forte Apache just to put food on the table.

A fine of two weeks maximum equals almost £600k.

City will baulk at paying him an additional £3.6m to let him get even fatter in the stands, prior to the Jan window.

Sacking him now saves us £4.2m in the immediate.

The original talk was of cutting our losses in January, but it does appear to be getting nastier by the hour.

Great news. Thanks Tolm.

Would sacking him now leave him free to sign for another club or would his registration still be held by us until any court case?

Cheers tolmie, keep us posted if you can! Good to see you posting regularly again.

Somehow I don't think Tevez will be short of a quid Tolmie long after leaving City even if he is personally held responsible for repaying Greek's debt or at worst the mortgage on his homes.

It is true we have pampered to his needs beyond what we should have and like the little child he is , he thinks that if a smack over the rear is the worst he will suffer he will continue to call the shots.

What I am more concerned about is a suitable replacement and its timing ( without the excess off field baggage I stress ).

If you are to progress you need to replace players who don't want to play for City with better ones that do.

We need four fit quality strikers if we are to make progress over last season because form dips and suspensions will take their toll throughout the season.

To the tune of rehab.

"should he ever play again for city and we all said NO NO NO"

LMFAO!!!

This!!

Nice and simple!

should he play again for city we say NO NO NO
he was a twat but we let him back, now NO NO NO
we aint got the time for that conniving ugly swine
should he play again for city we say NO NO NO

Re: Carlos Tevez [Merged]

there's no shot at a legal solution, imo.

The team can discipline him, but won't be able to deny his wages. All he'll have to claim is that he was injured or unfit in some way, no court is going to rule that a manager can force a player to potentially harm himself or be subject to massive fines and lawsuits

We'd still hold it. He would have to sue us to get it and we could counter sue for loss of transfer fee.

Phil McNulty estimated we could stop him playing for a couple of years and receive more money (and directly from him) than we would now on the open market.

Holding on to his registration is a whole different legal argument.

But there is not a club on earth at present who would take the chance of paying him his wages and end up in court v City, on the hook for his original £50m price tag.

He is not only in breach by his refusal to play, his actions have now impacted on the asset value to ourselves.

Tevez may have earned a few quid, but it's fair to assume him and Kia won't be able to scrape that type of dough together.

This will sound crazy, but this is his 'Garry Cook moment'.

His actions and subsequent interviews, seemingly innocuous to his dim-witted skull, have just signed his death warrant.

My take as well.

His little interview last night has done for him.
