Does anyone think the new ST points system is a good idea?

I'd be interested in the percentage of fans that sign up to the relevant cup schemes.

I'd also be interested in the percentage you sign up to the Platinum membership (very high I expect).

I would love you to explain how the minuscule (in relative terms) amount of extra money raised by even the most extortionate ticket price rises would make a significant dent in the type of losses that City make.

This FFP mantra is a total fallacy and if/when the club meet these requirements it will have very little to do with the prices of season tickets

No you're right, it's just cos the club wanna screw us over like always. It's a hate campaign against poor supporters cos we only want rich ones.

We have to make money in everything we do and this is a way of doing it. By having superbia tickets it keeps other prices down. This in turn ensures more fans can afford tickets thus a fuller stadium. A full stadium has thousands of fans spending money on merchandise and food/drink. More money on match days goes towards the ffp.

The club has to make money.

So, you seem to be saying that these 'changes' are in order to ensure a full stadium? And that full stadium, which presumably we mustn't have at present, is going to be vital in order to meet FFP?

I think that is totally baffling on more than one level.

No I'm saying it is to ensure people can afford a seasoncard and therefore will bring in extra revenue. That will in turn bring a full stadium (which we don't have for every game currently) which is part of the whole picture towards ffp. If it wasn't important why would clubs not just sell tickets on the cheap. If it isn't to help towards the financial side then why are they doing it?

The top 5000 or so on points will pay it so they can go to away cames.

The people who pay it to catch up won't, as the regulars will pay it.

Therefore it is a bad idea as you either stay the same or lose.

Then there is the possibility of someone with 3k less points than you getting priority cus of that superbia membership.

No, 4850. IMO its a class system amongst fans and it favours (even more than usually buying match tickets) people with more expendable money. And for all those who think going platinum will get them up the points system quickly then I don't think it will. Most people will go platinum to protect their points so therefore there isn't much to gain but much more to lose if you don't go platinum.

NO !!!!! 5500

The facility to buy loyalty is points is obscene!! What price loyalty ?????????????

No - 4100 - it's the beginning of the end for working class supporters. The fact that the 'by invitation only' people only have until next Monday to cough up 2 and a half grand shows us all that the club is looking for supporters who have cash to burn.

7500 and 7380 and not really bothered as I don't expect us to be getting to semi finals and finals every year so this mad expected rush for tickets won't materialise.

There are plenty of away games that don't sell out so I personally don't think there will be a big difference and all a fuss about nothing.

just about sums it up
stick with what you've got and take your chances
cup games will still not sell out at ticket prices above £20

If we all refused to pay £50 top up fee, then we would stay where we are in priority stakes but obviously the complete opposite will happen and nearly all will pay it therefore still all remaining same position in the priority stakes but club fleece every one for £50
