Nothing to do with 'indie' music. It's the fact that the crowd is diverse in music taste and they have come to see city, not the performing artist.

Don't think Dizze rascal would go down to well either.

Not sure mate, trying to watch it on sky sport, but not seeing much.

I was listening on the radio but only caught that born in the uk thing, the one before that was good...but didn't hear the commentator saying the name of the song...

Spot on Dave. Fucking ruined my last ever visit to Maine Road, i walked out shaking my head wondering how we got it so wrong. A few pints in the sherwood and i was back to normal though!

He was awful and depressing, looked like a busker from the Arndale but sounded worse.

Followed by Kid British, crap fronted by a white boy who thinks he's black.

Followed by a dirge from BDB.

Music played too loud as players came out so the chants were drowned out so people gave up.

whole musical content was quality, but stereotypical, very manchester indie scene of a bygone age for those who fall into that catergory and not celebration party, should have got the stadium rocking with some classics and more upbeat contemporary tunes too, its 2011
