Does the offside rule need changing?

New Rules:

All City goals to be ruled out for offside in the PL from next season. For balance Rags will not have any goals ruled out.

Any goal that Manchester CIty score is immediately ruled out for them, and added to Manchester United's goal difference instead.

Forward planning - you're not asking for much from the twats who control such matters are you Trev ?

It would save a lot of f*cking about with rule changes if at the start of the season they just said 'Here are the rules for this season - They will not change'.

If they can't cope with that level of forward planning they need to f*ck off and give someone else a go at running things.

There are too many outside influences on the decision making process, and no doubt some of the more favourable clubs have their fingers in the pie.

of the theories about armageddon without it would be proved right or wrong but what a major step forwards if it works, keep var for snide fouls off the ball wrestling in the box, behind the ref's back etc.

No, definitely not. That'd be a goalhangers charter. With the result that defences would have their defensive line set at the 6 yard box. You'd end up with grimly boring games.

Perhaps they can get rid of the silly lines nonsense and let the VAR people simply look at a still frame. If they can't tell, just by looking, then not's not offside.
