The fact that it was in effect perhaps a second home does not detract from the childcare issue which was the reason to travel. Maybe as his company is registered there it is his primary residence and the London one is a work address? - who knows, but tbh this whole post while well researched just smacks of envy. In that situation Cummings would also be an irrelevance for what it's worth think they will both (Boris and Dom) go but not till trade deal finalised. Its not just Kinnock though is it Ali, Gething, and Jones have all broke the rules.

Maybe you missed my point. Which is that whether he is sacked or not, and no matter what his title is, he is still able to offer the PM advice. Sacking him would be symbolic but if they so choose, could change nothing at all.

You're doing that thing again where you assume you are correct. He might be lying, but can't really prove that. The Barnard Castle trip is clearly bollocks and I think if the media had concentrated on that rather than fall into the tarpit of arguing about the Durham trio/childcare he might have been out of a job by now. Think you were fully in your rights tbh, even to sell shoes. Key cutting is an essential service and any business that provides an essential service was told they were allowed to sell anything that they normally stock, not just the essentials. But then again, they've shown repeatedly that the rules are pretty malleable when they feel like it
