Barr's Senate confirmation hearing was a joke. There were many reasons why he should not have passed that hearing, but he did and now here were are with an utterly corrupt US Attorney GeneralUnfortunately, it could get much more dangerous, as @SWP's back’s post predicts (which is really just a summary of everything we have been talking about in this thread).
I mean, when you have the top law enforcement officer in the country going on CNN and spewing lie, after lie, after lie designed to undermine national elections, inspire vigilante response to demonstrations against racism and fascism, and cement autocratic power for the president, you know things are sliding fully in to dystopia.

I said it then, and I have said it many times after, he is an Opus Dei zealot that’s believes in unitary presidential power and nearly everything he does is for the purpose of establishing what is essentially autocratic rule and then using it to de-secularise the US via policy and enforcement. He props up Trump only because he was his only opportunity to gain a position of almost total control, with another religious zealot in the vice presidency, knowing Trump would be easily manipulated in to enacting Barr’s vision (backed by a completely corrupted Republican Party controlling the Senate).

He isn't actually saying vote twice, is he? It wouldn't work like that in the UK - if you've asked for a postal vote, you only get to vote by post (but can take the postal ballot to a polling station). Presumably (if he's not lying!) in NC there's a computer system that records that you've voted (whether by post or in person) so would reject a subsequent attempt. But if you've been sent a ballot paper, you could vote in person on the day and then post your postal ballot (it can be counted up to 6 November) - that would surely be illegal even if it was subsequently rejected.
What he didn't say was that your ballot in the post might be delayed because he's defunded the USPS.

It is what the shooter says is the truth at this stage, to be correct.
However, that aside, it doesn't mean they're purposely ignoring the truth, they may just haven't seen, heard or registered the other information. It's not always done maliciously.
