Unfortunately, it could get much more dangerous, as @SWP's back’s post predicts (which is really just a summary of everything we have been talking about in this thread).

I mean, when you have the top law enforcement officer in the country going on CNN and spewing lie, after lie, after lie designed to undermine national elections, inspire vigilante response to demonstrations against racism and fascism, and cement autocratic power for the president, you know things are sliding fully in to dystopia.

I'm not sure there will be many doctors left if they do without the evidence to justify it. I'd expect anyone who might be connected to such a decision to resign en masse.
