That was ivermectin (and Hydroxychloroquine).It’s Trump, of course they’ll have horse de-wormer adverts. Wasn’t it him or one of his anti-vax followers (Joe Rogan?) who said it was best used for COVID?
Advocates still claim evidence that they reduced effects (or speeded up recovery).
It was usually anti-vax conspiracists that reckon it was better to take untested horse medicine.
Any likelihood of general public acceptance was probably killed off by Trump's suggesting it, along with injecting bleach or shining a light up your arse.
