Agree. And the likely outcome from this if found guilty would be anything from no Prison but a mix of fines and community services to a short prison stretch (4 years max but would not serve more than 2). And of course a criminal record.

We all want jail time and the chance of him doing a couple of years is the prize on offer. It's like a roll of the dice.

Had it been you or I with a truck load of classified documents (some high classified humint) stored in cupboard at home we would already be locked up pending trial, whether we were cleared to see those documents or not.

True. What people seem to forget is that he might have delayed 3 trials so far, but he has 4. And if the Stormy case is the one that gets him a criminal record then that's funny. It's 50:50 he gets jail time and i like those odds.

Yep. Anyone else is arrested and held pending trial.

But. To get out of this he has to win the election. Its unique circumstances but so much evidence points to him losing in dramatic fashion. For example the dems are starting to roll out state level campaign operations and staffing up offices. They are going to invest time and money and volunteers at the grass roots level to get out the vote. Trump on the other hand has dismantled the GOP machine at the top and has focused on diverting all funds under his control. No signs of any campaigning beyond his shitty rallies. We don't really know what's going on and what will happen but we can guess. And it all points to a Trump loss.

If he losses he then has 3 trials all ready to go.
