Dont be disheartened.

how can any city fan be that down-hearted ? yes it hurts losing but boy it hurts when you are losing to york away in the old 3rd division.

we will fight tooth and nail for our title and champions league and that will be the yard stick to judge pep and the players and club. if we had to patch up a starting 11 in the fa cup when we are down to the bare bone and looking after the players after a big couple of weeks so be it

long term city did the right thing and if we lose then it will be for the good of the league and europe
am old school 40 points manchester city fan anything after that is a bonus

The sun was shining brightly this morning and i woke up in a good mood. Yesterday's game has gone now so no picking over the bones of a game we didn't deserve to win.
Dead right, B. Move on, get to Wednesday and let out a massive roar that sends 'em on to three more points. No doubt Klippity will see some 'unfairness' in the game, such as City players being allowed to kick the ball into the net!

And, if we're honest, weren't as arsed about winning as the opposition. Far more worrying if we'd gone all out to win and lost. Pep lives and dies by these decisions. We'll see in the fullness of time if he was right.

spot on

we did not want to fight with them and go toe to teo ? we just had the hardest couple of weeks with a double bubble games vs liverpool and Atlético Madrid ? liverpool will blow up mark my words they are playing a dodgy game in playing the best 11 all the time

city did it a couple of times and last season and got found out in the biggest game in the champions league final

we need a new club motto

# the bond that binds us together is (YOU)

Good post.

I get it, but it’s scary to think if we fail to win the pl or cl it’s because Liverpool did and we would never hear the end of it, we won the domestic treble and it was forgotten in an instant , but they wouldn’t be. We HAVE to win one ( torn as to which one, don’t want to be run down in the league after a big league, yet would love the kudos of winning cl

I wouldn't day "weren't as arsed" but the game at Atletico took a lot of energy out of our players and it showed. We simply could not match Liverpool yesterday and was always chasing a game they wanted more than us. Losing narrowly to a top side in a semi is no disgrace and should we meet them again in the CL final with Kev and Kyle available then we will give them a much harder game than yesterday.
