I hope you re right, but after tonight's game I think we're not good enough for something more in C.L.

It’s always tough at this stage of the competition. May I suggest it’s best to concentrate on the positives. At the moment at half time in this tie we are winning and in control. City will control the game better at theirs.

Rodri was absolutely woeful on the big stage.
Foden was absolutely outstanding.

Kev was the difference tonight, big time.

Back 4 seemed very nervy and I think Zinchenko was missed at LB.

They were robbed of that goal. We would be fuming if that was on us.

Bellingham very impressive but Foden stole the show.

A couple of weeks ago i wrote a post saying how i felt KDB might be in decline.

Not my finest moment.

Has been outstanding since.

Has gone from blowing out of his arse, to purring like a Ferrari.

On that, we are good enough to go dortmund and win.

That performance wasn't good enough to win the semi though against a club of Bayerns or PSG calibre, but we cross that bridge if we cross it.

I hope so, We seen tonight how simple it was for Dortmund breaking the lines through midfield. That wouldn't happen as much or at all with Fernandinho in the midfield. Double pivot with Rodri for the next leg.

Unusually poor by Rodri tonight

Needs legs around him unfortunately Silva was pushed forward so at times it was back to gundog and rodri.

Our highest scoring mid played deeper
Our most mobile mid played high
Cancelo who plays best from the right Played from the left.

Getting Kdb gundog Silva and rodri in the team and at their most effective is a conundrum.

Think we look better defensively with 3 at the back and either cancelo tucked from the right next to rodri or zinc doing it from the left.

We just defend more solidly doing that imho.

Thought we looked more nervous in parts than tired, wasn’t enough trust in themselves to execute the moves properly at times from some players.

Got over that in the second half though and really should have scored a few. Going to be a good second leg, they’re going to leave spaces, just got to defend well.

As Pep said previous you don't get many chances but when they come along you need to take them Phil took 1 out of 4 for me, but it's a win
