Pep wanted to keep him in the past but Luiz couldn’t get a work permit.

If Villa go down then we have to buy him back otherwise let him stay at Villa another season before bringing him back.

This is the attribute he has improved. For Girona or early this season, he was a bit too passive. Now he is more agile and the talent starting to stand out.
 
Villa stand out player since the restart, should be a no-brainer to bring him back. We will probably regret it if we don't.

Not as athletic as Dihno in his prime but more hardworking. Bermadoesque in effort. And his ability as a release valve is top notch. There is little not to like. Range of passing is excellent too.

Get him now. And then loan him back to Villa or a better club for a season. Perfect replacement to Ferna.

If they stay up ,I'd leave him for a season then when Fernandinho and Gundogan move on next summer bring him back.
