Que? You know something we don’t?Good signing and with the 2/3 others on route great to see some freshness in the squad.

Yes was just about to post something must have progressed with thisQue? You know something we don’t?
Anyone reckon we are waiting on ederson from Atalanta?Yes was just about to post something must have progressed with this
It’s a weird one.Anyone reckon we are waiting on ederson from Atalanta?
As a main dm signing but also sign Luiz as he can play further foward.
My guess is they wanted Zubimendi and he wouldn’t come, at least not now. It’s a weird one.
DM is clearly our Achilles heel and yet we are looking at a loan option. Makes me think Rodri is coming back sooner than we think and the club has decided to go for another player who can play when rodders needs a break or we need more strength in midfield.
No one is taking rodders place in the team.
Seems odd.
Why chase Zubimendi when he clearly didn’t want to leave Spain? Unless he has changed his mind and if that has happened, you would think he would want to come now before we buy someone else in the summer. My guess is they wanted Zubimendi and he wouldn’t come, at least not now.
Wary of signing another Phillips.
I don’t think either Emerson or Luiz are good enough even though they could help short term.
It is a strange one I've just seen some comments from Eddie Howe saying he's upset that newcastle keep losing there best players and they themselves are looking to bring a midfielder in should the worse happen.Maybe Bruno g isn't a fairytale signing we all thought it was.Why chase Zubimendi when he clearly didn’t want to leave Spain? I would love to know how far Rodri is away from coming back. I don’t mean playing game after game but training with the team.
The hole he left exposed our aging/fatigued squad.
It’s interesting. I can get the CB need. I can get we need a Haaland backup/someone who can play along the front.
I still can’t see why we haven’t went in big for a dm.
Might not be popular but I would take that mainoo if that’s real and not a negotiating tactic.
You don't come back from an ACL injury sooner than expected. It's always a flat 8-9 month recovery if all goes well and many get setbacks extending that by a few months. And when he does come back, he will not be thrown straight in, and he certainly won't be doing a 60 game season immediately after. It’s a weird one.

Yep it's been sad to watch but then again he should never have been expected to play week in week out. Will never criticise Illkay for what he's done for this club guy is a City legend!Good player. If he can run he'll be better than Gundogan. So sad for Gundo. I wish he'd never come back. For him and us equally.
Agree, I can't see him playing 90 mins game after game for a long while after he starts full training again, probably toward the back end of this year or early 2026. Of course I hope I'm completely wrong but surely we have to be planning for that possibility. You don't come back from an ACL injury sooner than expected. Someone will have to take Rodri's place in the team because we won't have the ever present Rodri available to us for at least 18 months and even that's assuming everything goes to plan with his recovery.
Zubimendi is too similar to Rodri, we need someone to compliment him more.My guess is they wanted Zubimendi and he wouldn’t come, at least not now.

then why was

The number went out of fashion when the last incumbent at Man City only managed 16 appearances and none of them were in the least bit successful - the number still represents the DM position - Dire Midfielder! In a world of sixes, eights and tens whatever happened to the no 4 ?
Mike Doyle was a centre back though.then why was
