Drinking on your own in a pub

When i was 18/19 and didnt have a car - i would always go to the pub down the bottom of my road on my tod just so i could watch the football. didn't have Sky or Internet indoors so thought - fuck it. Loved it to be honest.

Now i have a family to look after , i do miss my own space.

I've done it, and don't see anything wrong with it. I like to sit down with a (PREMIUM) lager or a beer, have a read, have a think and shoot the breeze with new people. It's funny as my friend thinks this is a bit odd, but he goes to the cinema on his own which I would never do.

However, the whole reason he posted that is that he knew someone would bite and suddenly a thread about boozing on your own, becomes a thread about Brookie and that's exactly what he wants.

And I do realise the irony that my explaination plays directly into his hands but it's only fair that you are warned about him, Loui.
