Dropping out of the top 4 - potential repercussions?

United have been scraping through games and snatching results all season, while us... when we go out of form we don't just revert to poor football, we seem to ship goals like no tomorrow too.

I never took any of this 'we could finish outside the top 4' talk seriously but today's result has kind of changed that. It's not unrealistic at all now after 3 pts dropped vs Burnley.
It's quite feasible that we could lose 3 and draw 1 of our away games + Soton at home. In such an event 5th may be the likeliest position.
It cannot be allowed to happen. Sack MP on Thursday, do whatever, because, make no mistake, it would be a huge blow for the club to not have CL.

I don't believe that this is feasible at all.
We've lost 5 games in 29 games apparently playing awfully. I suspect we're not going to lose 3 in 9 and draw 2.
