Dullest Football Since Pearce?

Pep changed football in this country when he first came but that time has been and gone, the current players, tactics, style is just boring to watch
Exactly.Wenger changed football in this country too!

Will people stop talking about taking our fucking chances?

It's not about results, it's about watching paint dry for 180 minutes a week. The thread title has it right there.

It's fucking dull. Sterling nodding the ball home in the 92nd minute isn't going to make me say "oh, I guess that last hour and a half was actually quite entertaining."

It’s much more than this fabled double pivot.

The players look over-coached, frightened to make mistakes and the amount of backward passes we make isn’t a product of chance, it’s design.

None of the players look happy. Good players are bang out of form.

We’ve been on the slide for 18 months now and what we’re seeing now is just the continuation of the same trajectory.

i thought we needed to make a change at the end of last season and I’m more convinced with every week - the only difference is that it’s going to cost us 20-plus million now to sack the bloke.
I don't think the players are told the proverbial 'go out and enjoy yourselves'.

I seem to remember plenty of dull games during the first 12 months or so of Mancini’s reign, and the handbrake only fully came off after we beat United in the FA Cup semi
True and I used to think we could have been more attacking against lesser sides in the early part of Bobby’s tenure but he certainly got there. We’ve gone the opposite way and if you don’t have enough faith in your side to roll the dice at home to the mighty West Brom it’s very worrying.

Then after the game he reverts to arrogance when asked questions about more points lost before making out we had tons of chances. I really hope he doesn’t believe we created loads last night because we really didn’t. We huffed and puffed and eventually due to volume of pressure created a couple right at the death. Their keeper did not have some sort of wonder game like Pep would like people to perceive.

Whilst I dont disagree yes City are abit boring to watch, so are the opponents boring with all 11 behind the ball, that's boring !.

City became very very good and scored plenty of goals, now even with a misfiring City, teams are sitting even deeper. Teams must still think that if their attack City, they will lose, so play for a draw home and away and hope to nick a winner.

Last nights game reminded me of the QPR, Aguerooooooooo moment only WBA weren't playing to stay up, 11 or so games in and playing like that bloody hell what will the other 20 odd games WBA have to play be like ?

Can you please ask our opponents not to put 11 players behind the ball?
