Dullest Football Since Pearce?

A shadow of our former selves, it's sad just how far we've fallen.
Poor recruitment, lack of confidence, strange tactics, players completely out of form, the list goes on.
It's not a quick fix either, we'll be back at some point but i haven't got a clue how long that is going to take or whether it'll even be Pep getting us back there.
I wonder if that contract extension has an exit clause at the end of THIS season?

Unless things improve rapidly, I am beginning to hope it has!

Genuine question for those that are bored.

If those two headers had gone in, or any of the other shots their keeper saved, would you still claim it such boring football?

If you would, then bigger problems than a double pivot, inverted wingers, wide fullbacks, tika taka, hoof & loof or whatever named brand style of football is on topic.

we arent taking our chances, 3 or 4 clear chances ,they go in the wums would be quiet and the mentally weak that are easily led astray wouldnt throw their toys out of the pram, or act like spoilt kids.

26 shots, 2 give me chances, against a team that basically didnt move out of their box, a bit of luck and we would of won that game and and everything would be rosy, were getting there imo, but with the turmoil of the last year things are harder this year

Agree I dont think City are playing all that bad to be honest like I said in the post match, we arent getting the rub of the green. I dont think it was a foul that lead to their goal, plus the shot was going wide ! We arent having much luck in front of goal.

But in general I feel football without fans is boring. Fans push a team on or let their feels known. There is no pressure from the stands so every games must feel like a training/ pre season game.

I am not a fan who thinks a team should just roll over, but a fan who wants to see a good game regardless who the winning team is. Do I want to pay 60 plus quid to watch a game like last night. No.

I came to over 12 games last season and the only game I really enjoyed was v Leicester !

Hopefully football can become exciting once fans get back.

City have three goals fewer than they did after 12 games of the 1994-95 PL season under Brian Horton

26 "shots" and only 2 were on target before the 90th minute. The 2 sitters were in injury time, a smash and grab against one of the worst sides possibly in PL history. If you think we're getting there I genuinely hope you're right but you're watching a different team to most of us
