Dzeko looked like Samaras yesterday

I'm with you. He's not a leader [yet]. But he does his job well.

What happened yesterday was the absence of Kompany + De Jong + Tevez at the same time.

No leader. No spirit. Mancini should realize the importence of them three. He can't lead the team on the pitch. He must trust someone else.

If only Jo were De Jong.

We had 20 mins to go and were losing to Notts County, we didnt look like scoring and Bobby swaps the left backs...????

Why didnt he bring on Tevez or Nigel? Surley when your 1 nil down in a knock comp like that you would bring on your big guns??? Very odd tactics
It would have been a lot odder to have brought Nigel on to win a game.

Not really - Nigel provides a brilliant platform. Jo was doing fuck all and Milner was half and half - De Jong and Viera in the middle steadying the ship giving Dzeko, Silva, Yaya and Richards (seeing as he was doing that anyhoo) the chance to bomb forward

The OP sees himself as a bit of a joker

I thought he looked awful yesterday, his first touch was shocking he lost the ball on numerous occasions and his hold up play was not good enough for a multi million pound signing against a lower league team. I will give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the playing surface yesterday as it was really poor but for me on what I have seen so far I am deeply concerned at this signing, I am not sure he is the player that most people on this forum seem to think he is.

People will say 'but he scored yesterday' but lets be honest he couldn't miss, on the occasions he did have a half chance he looked sluggish on the turn and clumsy to me. I hope to god I am proved wrong but I said it before we signed him and I stick by it now we have another Samaras situation on our hands.

I know this post will probably upset a few but this is just how I see it, I really really hope I am wrong for City's sake.
I've not read all 9 pages, in fact I'm just half way down page 1, and you were spot on with that prophecy!

We didn`t need to defend an Kolorov gave us a better attacking option than Nigel ever could.

Someone started a thread like this about tevez and had it shoved up his arse but he took it in good grace I hope you will find that same grace in a years time.
A handful of games in a new league and he looks decent and is hardworking,a good platform for the lad if you ask me.
