A poor guy !!! Listening that interview you could feel how a genuine team player thinks. The sad thing is that he was not supposed to get that boll. The little guy (Silva) was trying to score himself though he had Edin in a perfect position. Silva is destroying all forwards in the current City game set up.

Yeah, that's overboard, but there are times when strikers are open but Silva back passes or tries to dribble. Today's game, after Dzeko scored I believe, he was wide open in the box noone on him for a little while, but Silva either didn't see it or didn't want to pass, but he dribbled for a while then passed back to someone else.

At exactly 76:30 Dzeko was uncovered in box, could have been 2-0 if Silva passed. If you have game recorded you can see it. But all in all can't fault Silva in today's match.

No doubts a grate (midfield player) but too egoistic, trying to be a striker as well !!! He passes bolls to forwards only when he has no other alternatives. Should be opposite !!! How many passes have Balloteli and Dzeko received tonight from Silva ????? Dude pay attention to his game and you will understand what i am talking about !

It's not supporting the players though.. its blaming one of our most creative players for a striker not scoring. Dzeko fans just look to blame anyone, it never seems to be his fault. He could rape someone and the victim would somehow still get the blame. I don't mind dzeko, I'm sure he will come good... its just some deluded bastards on here who think its those around him that are the problem that pisses me off.
 
Pleased as punch for Edin scoring his first league goal. Edin is and will show everyone that he is a brilliant striker... however he's not a 'Carlos' in that he does need to be 'fed' properly as he's used to. Bringing him on whilst taking off Adam was weird strategy..who's going to give him the crosses he needs to score, certainly not Mario. Certainly can't blame David though, he's used to complicated interplay with Carlos..long may it continue.

They have a point though, Silva is a great player but is selfish, he only has something like 6 assists i think

nothing wrong with pointing that out, just because he is this forums love child doesn't mean he should be blocked from criticism

You don't think so? As I said I love him and think he's a good player but as chief "playmaker" in the team he should have more than 6 assists and it goes down to him being selfish. Why do you have a problem with what i said?

How anyone can label Silva "selfish" is beyond me. He's the exact opposite.

And it's just retarded logic to say that he only has X amount of assists and therefore he's selfish.

The less said about him being "egoistic" the better...
