Don't forget, Dzeko also had three assists, and two of them were brilliant: the one for Yaya against Wolves and for Tevez vs. Notts County.

He had a decent shot and made the odd decent run but still a bit sloppy in possession and passing which is a concern with him.

happens if he has to come deep often...hopefully he'll drill that too...so the reports on him seem to get better from match to match

I'm pretty sure 10 mins of match of the day won't paint a true performance of any player!

Just watch the full match on the Internet or something to get the full performance, even watching it on tv you miss most of the stuff ie runs etc

I just did...brilliant start to the match creating space, exploiting the left side....Balo unlucky with the shot....Silva good as always, Yaya great passing...

as for Dzeko...two good long distance shots, couple of good runs, one ended with a dangerous cross that Balo didn't get to...kept possession well at the end running the clock down, three first touch situations went wrong (but when he lost the ball he tried to win it back immediately, which is god)...passing was decent...but I feel that the two "problems" were more of a warm up issues ( you do get warmed up before getting on but once you're in it is a bit different) all in all a decent performance for the time given, and it seems his confidence is on the rise (he wouldn't have taken these chances to shoot few weeks ago would he)
 
He does deserve a start soon, surely his goal justifies that, especially as Balo hasn't scored in 10 games.

1 goal...doesnt make unpickable...balo hasnt scored in 10games but contributes more than dzeko..

completely agree and imho wasn't bought for this season but we made sure we had him ready for next!
