Dzeko Not Happy With Current Setup - Quotes

Dzeko is in my opinion a big game player, an impact player. Plays as wellin the carling cup as he does in the European cup. Brought on to make an impact. He know's his place!

Wind up? There have been a couple of games where he had come on and made the difference. But I really think he's much better as a starter as he takes too long to settle into a game. Bringing on someone who has pace or a killer pass is more suited as an impact player imo.

If the quotes are true or false, they're spot on. He did join to play matches, no quality footballer joins anywhere as a sub, and he's way too good to be sat on the bench. Whether this is something you come out with to the press knowing Mancini's stance on dissidents is another matter, though I'm sure he would bite your arm off to swap him for RVP given the chance anyway.

Hmmmm not to long ago he was staying he was happy at city!

I know the sun have a way of twisting words so I'll wait till the full interview his the public before I cast my opinion!

His frustration at Manchester City last term and suggested he may move on if things do not change.

The Bosnian forward arrived at City in January of 2011, with manager Roberto Mancini hailing him as the player who would "make the difference" in their title push.
Things did not work out as planned and it was little different last term, with Mancini preferring Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli and the returning Carlos Tevez in attack.
Sitting on the bench as City won the title proved frustrating for Dzeko, who did actually score 14 goals, and with Italian clubs linked with bids, he has warned Mancini that things must change.
He said: "In the second half of last season, I suddenly got to start far fewer games - and I've got no idea why.

"I lost my rhythm. I joined City in order to play in matches. I never imagined that things would turn out the way they have.

"I am too good for the bench. If I continue to sit matches out, then anything is possible."

I'd rather he wanted to play than be happy to sit on the bench. Unfortunately our first choice will be Carlos and Kun (even if we sign van dick head, which I hope and think we will not!) so it's not like he's going to be starting for us.

Or is he? In four competitions he will get a good share of starts as we don't need or want to play full strength every week.
