Negredo certainly looks more pissed off than Dzeko does when Aguero fails to pass to him in a great position. Maybe he'll frighten him into making better choices (I'd sure as hell pass to Negredo if he wanted it...).

You should fully read what I said. I said we need him for depth, but he would be of good use too for the league cup. The important games should be reserved for Negredo. To be fair to Edin, he has done well in the past as a sub, and I give credit where credit is due there. Aguero had an off game, but he also brings the creativity, and is willing to drop into the midfield for defense. The goal Sergio scored today, Dzeko would never in million years score that.

Most likely, Dzeko offers good poaching, and that's about it. He's also scoring 1 goal in 7 attempts.

You must have seen how many "sitters" Dzeko has missed? many more than Sergio.

Your defense of Dzeko could be seen as admirable, but there comes a time when you just have to hold your hands up and admit "he just ain't that good".

I like negredo a lot. He doesn't seem selfish at all. His first goal from the angle which I saw it seemed as if he wanted to pass the ball for aguero to score into the open net but as luck will have it, the ball found its way into the net :)

I'd bet that edin would try to squeeze that in and end up missing it.

And kun really had a dzeko performance today. Bar the goal he let down himself at times
