Dzeko

Class player but like many players before him, including David Silva, he may take more than 3 weeks to find his feet in the Prem. Very odd on here today.

Our NT manager just confirmed that he wont be taking Edin to the US for the frindly vs Mexico. He wants to give him a better chance to adapt to England and if he took him to America he most likely wouldnt have played vs United.

Well lets think about some specific things before people begin to criticize Dzeko.. I realized then when the corner kicks are being taken, Silva searches for the smallest player on the pitch for some reason and that is Tevez, when you have Dzeko a 6'4 Player waiting in the box which is extremely good in the air, but no apparently Tevez in 7'0 and is god.. Another thing is when Tevez or Silva get the ball they don't see any other player besides them selves and Silva/Tevez and the goal. So it's pass to Silva/Tevez and not a pass that would benefit the team, which would be to pass to the wings and get crosses in for Dzeko.. Another thing is just like how someone said in another thread, No Service=No Goals for Dzeko.. He needs Tevez to stop being selfish and LEARN HOW TO PASS THE BALL. Plenty of cases where he didn't pass when he needed to, like in the final play of the game that got the Free Kick, wasn't a free kick but still got it awarded for some reason... I strongly believe we should sell Silva and Tevez and bring in players that know how to pass the ball and don't only care about their careers, but where the club could finish in..

Dzeko when he is put in the position will finish , that is for sure but we just need to realise that he is just as big a threat in the area as Tevez and or Silva . If all three of them can mix it up together the goals will fly in . But if Tevez and Silva keep playing there little game together , then Dzeko will be isolated and his effect on the game minimilised. He is a fantastic striker and I hate to see a player of Dzeko's calibre completely ignored .

Silva and Tevez pass to each other because they offer themselves the most - unlike the rest of our stagnate midfield.

Bloody hell we missed out there.
We should have swapped them for Charlie Adam. He can pass a ball.
But will he get you 20 odd goals a season?

I remember an action where Tevez got the ball on the left wing, it was a two vs three situation where the center of the field was free... Dzeko cut down on the left side and Tevez, instead of passing it to him, cut inside trying to break through the 2-3 Birmingham defenders. He lost the ball. If he gave it to Dzeko, the kid would have had a highway to the goal. It would have looked as all those goals we see on youtube from him...
