Didn't want to start a new topic on this but....

Manchester City's Edin Dzeko to Arsenal?
Wenger is about to get out his wallet and write a cheque for £18m of the biggest ones. In return for that cheque he will be getting Edin Dzeko, whose time at Manchester City has been such an unqualified success that the Mill is not sure why Roberto Mancini has not stopped giggling since Wenger sent his offer via telephonic transmission of some scanned printed materials.

Do you think Mancini would Sell Dzeko? Has he got Remy or someone else in mind? Opinions please!
Not sure....Two seasons ago in the January transfer window Mancini went all out to buy Dzeko, but his attempt was unsuccessful. And he purchased him that summer. Would Mancini really want to get rid of someone he really tried hard to get not so long ago? If so, then IMO, he is acting like a spoilt child.

Other way round, in the summer we bid for both Dzeko and Higuain both bids were rejected. Dzeko wasn't happy the bid was rejected, and did not perform too well under Steve McClaren that season. We made another bid in the winter which was accepted.

it wouldn't be first time that manager sells someone he recently bought.

I'm pretty sure Mancini would sell Dzeko if offer that please both sides would come. It looks it isn't.

Yep it is up to Mancini to get the best out of Edin. Not everyones ideal striker but when on top of his game is a very dangerous player.

With Carol gone Liverpool only have 2 strikers. If they dont get Dempsey I could see them coming in at the last minute for him.

I think its safe to say EDIN IS NOT GOING anywhere...at least THIS transfer window.
Otherwise he wouldnt be at Carrington as reported, training for tomorrow's game.

Although, if the rumour that Wenger offered 21 mil. pounds + Chamakh is true that tells me something else - Roberto still values Dzeko a lot...otherwise he would pounce as that is not a terrible offer.

21M +chamakh = 15M , very low offer

:-)

good one. He would be a 4th striker and wouldnt get much playing time anyway...Balo would just have more playing time.
