He's never played proper football, though.

Do you honestly believe that there is, quite literally, zero information to be gleaned from any football, whatsoever, if it isn't a licensed match with the first team? If that's the case we're done here, just two different opinions that aren't going to be changed by internet typing.

I think it's fine that you think Edin is a better player than Kelechi right now. If the positions were reversed, and he was attacking you for making that claim, I'd be rushing to your defense. What struck me as silly is how quickly you guys devised that it was impossible to know that, or impossible to come to that conclusion. Kelechi has played a lot of football. Doesn't matter that it's EDS, pre-season, etc... we've definitely formed an approximation of the player we have on our hands.
I wouldn't need you to rush to anything though, as facts don't need defending.

I think if you're comparing Iheanacho with Pozo or Lopes it would be fair enough. Saying he's better than a bloke with 223 senior goals because he's looked good in a friendly against Vietnam, however, I find strange.

Not sure what historical facts necessarily have to do with who's on form against West Brom. For the record I'd start Edin over Kelechi if he wasn't leaving. But if I had the choice to Start Fernando Torres or Balotelli (both historically, factually better strikers) over Kelechi on Monday I'd start the latter. Just a decision on who looks like the best footballer at the moment.

I'm confused... are you talking to me? Not sure what the pm note means.

It means please don't send me another pm to explain your point, like the one and only other time I tried to engage with you.
There's just something that doesn't sit right about having strange american men trying to strike up a private conversation on the internet.

I think maybe the guy has watched a lot of EDS, two good pre-seasons, or is just taking a punt and talking out of his ass. Regardless I'm still struggling to see how current form is so married to a historical goal record for you guys, to the extent that it's impossible to even conceive of starting Kelechi.

"Historical"? That's your word, I'm talking about the here and now.

Ah, back in July when you made a correction to a post of mine. Was trying not to derail a thread (which I'm failing at now) by responding privately, but no worries. Consider us internet strangers.
