Earliest City crowd song?

Apart from City City this is probably the correct answer.

Certainly the the one from cepea (sp) times that get a mention.
My uncle who died a few years back told me that the Kippax sang who said city couldn't play in the 1930s. He also said that was the chorus and it had quite a few other versus. My dad also.used to talk about singing in the " boys corner" between the Main Stand and Platt Lane during wartime friendlies .

On top of all England now stand the Sky blues.
Who we will all follow win or lose.
Now we are the kippax and when we all cheer.
It sounds just like music in Joe Mercers ear.
So come and join us we're here to stay.
As long as the Kippax and all of us say.
CITY CITY CITY.
That was back in 67/68 to the Tune of On top of old Smokey.
