Waitress =7
Girl also on her own at a different table =5.

Away from home? A 5 turns into a 7.5 after 2 pints. After a couple of brandies then she moves up to an 8 and therefore will receive some back door action later on IF YOU FUCKING ASK HER NICELY.

Table Girl will complain to waitress about the lonely weirdo sat on his own. Both will take off to table girls room for a quickie and you will be left wishing you had set up that webcam.

Since October I have had five weeks of this crap. 3 weeks in Sheffield a week in Birmingham and a week in London. Eating on your own in a Hotel Restaraunt has to be one of the loneliest things going.

I've always enjoyed it. Quite like my own company and it usually means i can get some work done without the usual distractions. Plus it's free food and beer!

Tonight is one of those rare nights when I'm away from home for work, without a colleague or client to meet for dinner.

I'm in a depressing hotel restaurant, as I think that's marginally more socially acceptable than going to a 'proper' restaurant on your own. Also eating early to get it out of the way.

Bluemooners are a wide and varied bunch. Anyone face this situation regularly and have a strategy for getting through it?

i have to do it all the time when travelling with work.
its no biggie. I usually read.

Not sure why you put so much stock into the opinions of others. If they think it strange; so what? You'll likely never see these people again.
