Eberechi Eze

If Pep is targeting to get both him and Doku in there's something Pep's planning that he clearly wants quick and tricky players for. He's always a step ahead of the rest of the managers, I look forwards to seeing what he's building
solid defence hoof n run attack
exciting times are back and rag fans will flock in droves pining for good old days

Also what’s happened to our approach of being calm and patient in the market? To go from waiting next summer for Haaland after being quoted a high price for Kane and rejecting brightons valuation of cucurella and picking up a smart buy in Alvarez etc etc… to having paid €65M for Doku and now rumoured to be in for Eze who doesn’t solve our issues and looking at a potential fee of £90M.
We are low on numbers for our 25 man squad and so many games with injuries to pile up. There are a lot of things to factor…

Centrally starting position -basically entire part of pitch: physicality (pace, power, stamina, strength attitude/mentality) // technique, experience - Eze aswell as being English is exactly the kind of young player coming from the cage deserves a shot way more than yet another foreign player who quite often is found out to not have a fukin clue

Would like to think we seek the counsel of our own senior players when considering such players. I’d be interested in hearing Walker’s view on how elusive Eze is and how hard he is to chase down.
