One name and one name only

Wesley Sneijder

Didn't he sign for the rags last season, all the experts said so.

They know fuck all about fuck all, its silly season and its anything to fill a headline and airtime.

Along with Nasri and Silva and Benzema and Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Just for a bit of balance against the "football Manager" types with their 'he's amazin' quotes ..........
He may or may not be, BUT however good he may look over 90mins as opposed to youtube.....it was in a league won by a team who had John FUCKING USELESS Utaka playing for them ;)
SOUTHAMPTONblue

Hmmmmmm ;)

a family of born and bread blues who sit behind me in 111 live in southampton and make every home game and alot of away's to, so your atempt at humour means nothing.
You mean, the fact that I was pointing out Utaka played for Portsmouth, Southampton's rivals. And seeing as he's from there he might have some sympathy for them., hence his comment about him.

That attempt at humour?....

Hazard give us something we sorely lack (penetration).

Being the only player in Europe to score more than 15 goals and 15 assists besides Messi tells me he's damn good.

I take it you haven't watched him?

I have watched him play 14 times this season, more last season and when I say watched him I dont mean stroking one out to youtube highlights.

I am almost certain all the people who are treating ths transfer as if we were on the verge of signing Messi are the ones who have only seen the guy play on youtube clips, and judging by your goals/assist comment I am sure you are one of them.

He is a quality player and he would give us something we lack in term of width and pace, but he not a unique snowflake, there are alternatives who would provide the same thing.

As for his goals/assists, like I said he is quality but bear in mind the quality of the teams he is facing week in week out, the french league is a long long way below Germany/Italy in terms of quality, never mind Spain/England.

He would be a good signing, thats it.
Youtube clips? Get the fuck out of here, mate.

I'm usually one of the people on the forum that goes "Hazard is playing at x time, let's watch it...here's a stream"

I've watched nearly every match of his since Mancini went to visit him.

I even downloaded Lille's CL matches to see how he looked on the grand stage.

How does me using a statistic show that I've only seen him on youtube? I will never know.....perhaps you're talking about yourself.

Where did you download these matches ? I you have a link to download full LOSC matchs of this season i would be very interested ;)

As for the comparison with Messi and Ronaldo, it's totally irrelevant. Even me, a Lille fan, will easily admit he's less skilled than them, or at least less efficient. But don't forget he's only 21 y.o, that means 3 years younger than Messi and 6 than Ronaldo.
Also many of his moves are nipped in the bud by the technical lacks of his partners, who can't follow him every time, or simply just don't see what he sees.
But i'm sure with Silva, Aguero, Nasri to play with, he'll be even more efficient.

As for the differences between the leagues, i already said the main difference is offensive. In terms of defenses, the Ligue 1 has nothing to be ashamed of compared to PL. So it doesn't mean anything in Hazard's case.

Besides I don't think many of you would say no to signing Neymar, Ganso, Hulk ... despite the level of the league they play in.
