Any updates on Hazard? Jus heard the The writer for Le Parisien speaking on talksport and he says he has a hunch that city will snap him up due to the Viera factor! He idolized him as a kid and has been speaking to him for the past couple of months including the derby win at Etihad. It's all looking good but I cbaaaaa with this being another Sanchez saga. Why do United want him anyway? They have a squad composed entirely of wingers and they're screaming out for a CM or even a DM.

It seems just as strange as trying to sign Sneijder when they needed a CM. I swear if Ferguson had City or Chelsea resources he'd make some massive mistakes.

Hazard can play as a winger, but he's just as talented as a play maker or just behind the striker, like Tevez.

In fact, in his earlier days he was a playmeker. But his first games in pro with Lille he played as a winger, with the success we know.
He has played like a winger until last season, but the loss of Yohan Cabaye, who was dreadfully replaced, compelled Hazard to take the lead of the team, game wise.
So during this whole season, he has done almost everything : his job as a winger, but also playmaker, and striker. All this during the same match, unless it would be too easy.
That is why he is the best scorer (his role as 9,5), and best passer (his role as winger and playmaker).


TBH(yeaah ^^), IMO he's even better as a playmaker than as a winger. He has the pace of Ronaldo, and the passing skills of Fabregas :P

Yes which is where Rooney is. Its my entire point that it sounds ridiculous that they're trying to sign a player for a position they don't need to cover, especially when they have Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes playing in CM. They have Rooney for the hole (when they even set up like that) and an abundance of wingers.

Hazard also does not have the pace of Ronaldo.
