Not much but the challenge now is to catch those top two. Not even bothered about the Rags, I think we've swatted them away one year ahead of plan. They need Hazard more than us, which is why they might get him as it sounds like Eden wants to be the star of the show and let's face it, he won't be at City.

With the players we've got and will still sign he would be part of a great team. I bet Bale won't be wondering where he will be the main attraction and hopes Eden goes to United so there is more money left for us to sign him.

We are for sure the only team going forward in the prem,it would be a mistake for one of our targets to join another prem club..

I think barca & real are above us and we are hovering just behind with bayern..

I know they have not won the league but still a very good team,i would expect them right up there again at the top next season.

Dctid says its naive to believe we are as good as Bayern, I believe that's clearly wrong. We are not as historically succesful but that's a different thing. Likewise I don't think Chelsea are better than Bayern just because they beat them in one game.

No it isnt. Another reality check needed - Byern came 2nd in the Champs League, and lost to the team who came 4th in our League.
By choosing to ignore the reality, merely hiders progress.
It doesn't matter how you flower it up, we weren't good enough against Napoli or Byern. Fact. Mainly because our defence, whilst adequate to repel the mainly average Premiership team attacks - it wasnt enough for superior foreign ones.
I did say this last summer - and I say it again now. Lescott isnt up to scrutiny by top strikers.....................

You are only looking at the head to head between the two teams. On that basis Sunderland are better than us.

The CL is the only way you can compare teams that play in different leagues. They were in the same grouop as ourselves and won it and then went on to the final.

LEague football (whatever league) is very much different than CL or indeed Europa football with the away goal s rule and the style of football played (which we dont generally play against in the prem) and until we learn that and it took the rags a few seasons to get to grips with it and so it will ourselves.

Historically they are better than us you say - all i know is that they played us off the park less than 12 months ago with our current squad (Less Trvez of course) so i would orefer to see what happens this year before i consider ourselves to be a shie in for next years prem and the third best team in Europe

Some people get soo fookin giddy on here jujst fookin enjoy the moment and look forward to next season rather than expecting European and Prem domination because it probably wont happen in the way we think - the QPR game being a prime example

Liverpool won the carling cup does that mean they were the best team in England before chelsea won the fa cup? Anything can happen in a match one bad call by the ref, key players out injuried and moments of madness by a player can be the difference between delight and dispair! Wolves won their opening two games last season, better teams are decided over a season not by 90 or 180 mins.

I can tell you now that I will be extremely surprised is this ego inflated player 'PICKS' to play for our great club.

Now I highlighted PICKS because this fella seems to think that he is Mr Billy Big Bollocks and rates himself so highly that he can hold clubs to ransom and play games with the media and fans.

First of all he wants to play in Manchester, then he will be wearing Blue, then Chelsea win the champs league, then he mentions getting more playing time, now he has to wear the number 10 shirt - the list is getting endless. Next week he will want his arse wiped by training staff!!!!

He wants to be the star attraction at whichever club he plays at (look at the scenes and milking of the press etc in last game for Lille) - well i am sorry Mr Hazard you won't be the fucking star player and main attraction at CITY because the players we have are quality for sure, but they play for each other. Yes you may have won french player of the year awards, fucking woop de woo......

someone earlier in the Hazard threads listed his awards compared to those won by Balo...guess who came out on top.......

So his choice of club will show his character, Choose CITY and fight for your place in the team to prove and become a great player. Or choose another club where you will be guaranteed playing time and justify your over inflated opinion of yourself.
